About our North Delta Family Child Care home
A licensed BC Family Child Care home in the peaceful Sunshine Hills neighbourhood of North Delta. We provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where every child receives individual attention and encouragement to thrive.
Our mission is to nurture happy, confident, and capable children by supporting their natural curiosity and encouraging lifelong learning. We follow a play-based, child-led approach that weaves in nature, creativity, and community values, built on strong partnerships with families and open communication.
Sunshine Hills Kids Corner serves children from birth through age 5. As a licensed BC Family Child Care home, we care for a maximum of 7 children, so every child gets individual attention. With at least 60 minutes of outdoor active play each day and a warm, home-based setting, children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.

Every child receives personalized care and support
Each child is unique and develops at their own pace. Our small group size means we can observe and support each child's interests and milestones, with age-appropriate activities that gently challenge and engage every child.
Play-based, child-led activities that make learning fun
We follow a play-based, child-led approach woven with nature and creativity. Children grow through sensory play, music and movement, art, and at least 60 minutes of outdoor active play every day, weather permitting.

Meet our educator
Sidrat Jahan is the owner and lead educator at Sunshine Hills Kids Corner. Responsible Adult certified and trained in First Aid & CPR, she leads our licensed Family Child Care home with warmth, patience, and a genuine love for nurturing young children.
